Trauma Recovery Therapy
Trauma recovery is a journey, not a destination.
CITT Practitioners see you as whole person
Trauma affects a persons’ life – often eroding trust and confidence, affecting your behaviour, leading you to withdraw from everyday activities and breaking down connection with friends, family and loved ones.
Trauma, and its’ related psychological symptoms, can be developed through a range of circumstances; from work-related activities (such as military, first responders, ER workers), a workplace incident, childhood events, an accident, domestic violence, suffering from cancer, to name but a few.
Trauma is unique in the way it affects each person and it doesn’t just affect the individual, it can affect the whole family.
CITT Practitioners understand that sitting in a room, recounting events, can be very difficult and shut you down. So we use a highly experiential therapeutic approach with each of our clients, incorporating a range of different therapeutic modalities.
Our therapeutic style programs is designed to help build trust and confidence, improve connection and communication, as well as develop sustainable strategies to improve day to day life.
